๐Ÿ“˜ TL;DR

Go to Settings โ†’ Team โ†’ Invite User from the left-hand sidebar.
Admins can assign roles and permissions. Members can invite other Members only.

Team Permissions

Permission

What they can do

Member

Build rooms and workflows, invite other Members

Admin

Everything a member can do + manage billing, deactivate users, assign roles and permissions

User Roles

When inviting a teammate, you can also assign a User Role:

Role

Access

Room Creator

Can create, edit, and manage rooms. Counts as a billable seat.

Viewer-Only

Can view rooms. Cannot edit or create them. Not billable.

How to Invite a Teammate

  1. In the left sidebar, go to Settings โ†’ Team

  2. Click Invite User

  3. Enter their email

  4. Choose their Team Permission (Member or Admin)

  5. Select their User Role (Room Creator or Viewer-Only)

  6. Click Send Invitation

Theyโ€™ll receive an email from Flowla with a link to join the workspace.

Inviting new team members to your Flowla workspace will be slightly different depending on your Team Permission level:

a) If you're a Member

You'll only see a simple field to enter their email address.
Theyโ€™ll be added with Member permissions by default.

b) If you're an Admin

In this case, you'll have more control over the role and permissions of your new teammate.

The popup window you'll see will look like below.

Enter their email, and select their team permission and user role.

After you click 'Send Invitation', they will receive an email from us with their invite link!

How to Deactivate a Teammate

If you want to revoke access, you can deactivate the user:

  1. Go to Settings โ†’ Team

  2. Find the teammate in the list

  3. Click on Status

  4. Select Deactivate

๐Ÿ”’ Deactivated users wonโ€™t be able to log in or access Flowla, but their rooms and activity will remain intact.
